NAOTAKA TANI - (Japan Private Jupiteru 1001) 1971?
Really Obscure Japanese Private Pressing I believe from the early 70's. Sung entirely in Japanese this LP is very hard to describe musically. Supposedly some Underground Acid Folk figure with a very tortured past which is immediately visible from the creepy cover art of a blind person chained to his jail cell. Strange sounds that take some time to get used to, at times the only comparison I can find are some of the really sad but beautiful Russian Folk songs but enhanced with mouth harp, whistling, guitar occasional light orchestration and out of the Blue Fuzz Guitar all topped with a trembling downer voice. Very interesting LP for the more adventurous outthere. Beautiful Gatefold Cover, Poster Insert, OBI and LP are NM and probably extremy rare.
