First and foremost I do not know how to have records like some of the professionals sellers of records on here. So I try and make up for it with my photos & description. I appreciate you checking out my auction!
Here we have NAPOLEON XIV "They're Coming To Take Me Away" LP W.B 1661 which I see us the first printing of this....aka THE Original!
I am a firm believer 30 years later that "They're Coming To Take Me Away" traumatized me as a young child lol, I'm not even kidding! :)
This is part of my father's MASSIVE collection. I knew he had the 45 as it is was played about 5 hours a day from my birth until probably 5, but I never knew he had this album. I recently found my father (Phil Pape, whose name he wrote on the cover unfortunately) passed away so I am trying to raise money for his funeral as well as make sure all his records find a good home.
There is the bottom right of the cover which appears to have a 3 inch separation which was taped up. Colors are great, the album itself looks amazing to me, I really couldn't see a scratch on either side. I tried using Macro Focus for images, so hopefully you are able to get a good glimpse of the condition for yourself.
Again, thanks for checking out my auction, I hope to have many more listed this month. I have Beatle, Stones, allot of odd stuff, allot of popular stuff, stuff from the 60's, stuff from the 70's, all sorts. Hundreds. He took good care of them, I know none were ever to be stacked, he kept them like you would a book on a book shelf.
