Description

 

Switzerland's famous punk son Rudolph Dietrich was the leader of the first Swiss punk band NASAL BOYS. You are bidding on his hard to find solo 7” from 1979. Old eBay prices: $40 + $36. The superb A-sider is called B.O.F’s aka 'Boring Old Farts’. The equally brilliant flip is entitled 'No Claim With Bluff and Swindle’. Both songs of this original first pressing were sung in English and feature excellent lyrics. Although the labels are looking like an 'Off Course' record release, this beauty was issued on his own 'Rudolph' label. I found the following information, about this release, on the DISCOGS website:


  • RD's reaction to his experiences w/the music biz

  • The label name "Rudolph" got crossed out with a thick black marker from the cover and labels of all the copies that have sold to possibly avoid conflicts with CBS

  • Only about 25 - 50 copies of the record with the Rudolph labels still intact seem to have survived
