'Expect No Mercy'

Mountain, UK, 1977

TOPS 115

ANOTHER IN a long line of great albums from this much respected Scottish hard rock abnd with all the right moves. Vocalist Dan McCaferty unleashed some of his best vocals here, growling every song into submission whilst guitarist Manny Charlton rocks like a man on a mission. Favourite track? For me its 'Kentucky Fried Blues' and, of course, the title track.

This auction is part of a fantastic collection of seventies rock which I was lucky enough to acquire. Most of these records were stored with the utmost care and sparsely played. Some were possibly never played or may have been for just a handful of times.

Pressing: Mountain, UK, 1977

Vinyl: Nice clean and shiny unplayed condition. I can't see any spindle marks on labels and no signs of other use. Grades as top shop fresh  MINT!

Cover: Virtually no signs of use. Issued in a beautifully illustrated textured cover by Frank Frazetta. Sharp corners, no dings, no bends, no split seams, just the merest hint of ring wear and no creases. Spine is perfectly square and straight. Grades as a shop fresh MINT!

Inserts: Illustrated inner sleeve
