NAZARETH - Nazareth LP (UK blue-white Pegasus, 1971)
This is the rarest Nazareth album ever and also great, (but underrated) heavy-progressive album! This mega rare UK 1st Press debut from 1971 was originally released on short-lived, folk-prog Pegasus label. This is the first label variation - with pegasus logo on one side and blue titles on white background on the other side. A few months later the record label has changed the design for dark pink "PEG" - in addition with regular, smooth cover - NOT the textured original!!! Anyway, here is the REAL DEAL with correct cover and correct record label!!!
COVER: EXCELLENT+ Very, very fragile, flimsy and nicely textured Ernest J. Day cover is very CLEAN and near perfect - with 2 very light creases on front (along the spine - on front only). The back cover is perfect. The ultra-fragile (and very prone to wears) spine is in near perfect condition - with just 2 letters slightly blurred. The opening edge is razor sharp. This is very strong EX+ cover - just a hair below MINT-. It's hardly possible to upgrade!
RECORD: MINT(-) Perfect - looks like being unplayed! TOP audio!
LABELS: MINT(-) Perfect, without any spindle marks or wears, stamps or writings.
You can bid with confidence – check my feedback, please. My grading system is very strict – with very slight difference between M and EX. As a collector too I perfectly know, what does it mean to buy an overgraded record!!!
All my records (including 7-inches) were cleaned on Clearaudio Matrix machine and are ready to listen – without any disturbing noises or crackles caused by dirt.
