Description

I'm not a professional record dealer, so I don't try to grade them according to any particular system. I try to provide some general, basic condition information, but please refer to the photos and ask any questions.

I will be happy to combine multiple purchases for reduced shipping! I can ship up to 6 records in one box, more than 6 will require a second box. Please just wait for an invoice with combined shipping.

Condition of jacket: Record is an ex-library item, and housed in a library-made record jacket with remants of a card pocket and discard stamp/tape on front of sleeve. The record itself appears to be in very good condition, though on the record label there is a small library sticker and some portions marked out with black marker as visible in pictures. Looking online, I can find only a single institution holding this record - the University of Albany in New York.

Condition of record: A most unusual and scarce item apparently dating to the 1930s. This date is not on the record, but a few months ago I sold a very similar record that I was able to trace back to 1931.

This is an old 12-inch 78, only about 4 1/2 minutes long, with grooves on one side only. It is "Mary Gould Davis Speaking on The story of Book Week". Produced by the National Book Week Committee for NBC. The opposite side is embossed with a very cool spiderweb and RCA Victor logo.
