Up for sale is this rare vintage COMPLETE two-binder set of 12-inch 78 rpm record albums of the Italian opera “Aida” by Giuseppe Verdi. This features the chorus and orchestra of the Opera House in Rome, and is conducted by Tullio Serafin. This was released in 1946 on RCA Victor Red Seal Records. Each binder has 10 two-sided records for a total of 20 records, and these records are in NEAR MINT to MINT condition. These have been amazingly preserved. The binders are in overall very good condition but do show some edge wear and a bit of minor staining in a couple of spots. The spines are solid and all of the inner paper sleeve/pages are in excellent condition. You won’t be disappointed with this rare 78 rpm record set of Aida from the 1940s. This is the complete opera. There are many “highlight” versions of this classic opera, but this one is the full version. These two binders with the 20 records are quite heavy.
