Description
Unless you're buying a new, factory-sealed copy of Star Wars' The Empire Strikes Back original soundtrack from the motion picture, this set doesn't get any better! No longer factory sealed, these 2 LPs have been listened to ONCE--by me, to insure that they sounded as good as they look. They are MINT visually, and MINT in sound quality! Not a single vinyl scratch or other imperfection. The gatefold cardboard cover even has the original 12-page glossy insert booklet still factory-glued to the spine! This is the original 1980 press by Lucasfilm Ltd. and RSO Records.
Music composed and conducted by John Williams, this is affectionately known as the hauntingly intense soundtrack of Darth Vader himself. It is the BEST preserved LP set I've listened to in recent times, and I listen to dozens every week...
Outer box is in excellent condition, except for mild ring wear on front cover from storage all these years... The only reason I'm not listing this set as Mint is because it is no longer factory-sealed in shrinkwrap, and due to this minor ring wear on outer cover.
