Neil Chotem (Conductor And Arranger)-Music With, CBC Radio Canada Transcription, 176, 1960s.

Extremely rare Canadian/broadcast-only jazz LP featuring material by Jerome Kern, Charles Trenet, and Cole Porter. Chotem is a jazz master (fans of Jerry Toth and Ben McPeek take note). This album was only for radio play, pressed in minor quantities (100 or less), and never sold in stores. Comes w/ artist insert w/ bio and song information. Early CBC Transcription titles are virtually extinct/off-the-radar of most serious collectors, and most importantly, heavily enjoyable spins for fans of sunshine pop, vocal jazz, and soft jazz groove. Comes w/ stock CBC Radio Canada stock soft 12” sleeve. Deep cuts. Recommended.
