Description

BEAUTIFUL, UNPLAYED Original 1976 issue >> Never been on a turntable and handled only briefly by me for the photo shoot (See Details Below). It's so minty that it still has that pleasant, just-opened cardboard smell. It's one of the very best specimens of my collection.
Check out all Eight photos to see this Unplayed 1976 1st issue of NEIL YOUNG 'Decade' Best Of 3-LP (Reprise Records #3RS 2257 with etchings in the runout/deadwax zones: "3RS-1-2257-RE1-JW13" / "3RS-2-2257 JW6", "3RS-3-2257-JW7" / "3RS-4-2257 -JW5", "3RS-5-2257-RE1 JW6" / "3RS-6-2257 JW-5") featuring a lot of Neil's best work with CSNY, Buffalo Springfield, Crazy Horse, & solo: "Down To The Wire", "Burned", "Mr. Soul", "Broken Arrow", "Expecting To Fly", "Sugar Mountain", "I Am A Child", "The Loner", "The Old Laughing Lady", "Cinnamon Girl", "Down By The River", "Cowgirl In The Sand", "I Believe In You", "After The Gold Rush", "Southern Man", "Helpless", "Ohio", "Soldier", "Old Man", "A Man Needs A Maid", "Harvest", "Heart Of Gold", "Star Of Bethlehem", "The Needle And The Damage Done", "Tonight's The Night (Part 1)", "Tired Eyes", "Walk On", "For The Turnstiles", "Winterlong", "Deep Forbidden Lake", "Like A Hurricane", "Love Is A Rose", "Cortez The Killer", "Campaigner", and "Long May You Run" >> NEVER BEEN PLAYED (See below for detailed LP description).
I bought this one last year & REMOVED IT'S FACTORY WRAP to inspect (and to take a few photos) because I originally had plans to keep it as part of my listening library but I haven't owned a turntable in a few years & it will probably be a while before I buy a new one, IF I buy one at all. My loss is your gain. No one else has access to my collection so I am 1000% certain that it has only been handled (very briefly) by me while taking the photographs for this ad.
I've been surfing eBay for two years and have built up a collection of over 400 cherry-picked vintage LPs (99.9% factory sealed) and I've decided to sell them.
>> VINYL CONDITION: Shimmering mid-weight vinyls and Reprise labels are in factory-fresh condition (just as you would expect).
>> COVER CONDITION: Beautiful, Medium-gloss Gatefold cover (with a separate, removable insert-leaf) with only two subtle bumps to the left corners; NO wear spots; one miniscule hairline crease-wrinkle near the spine; NO water damage, NO cutouts nor punch holes; very mild degree of vinyl ring impression (from tight 34 year-old shrinkwrap); NO promo stamps; NO seam splits; spine print is very nicely centered; NO Record Club; NO Barcode.
IMPORTANT: Buyer pays for shipping >> I ship in good boxes and can ship up to 4 single LPs in one box. To save you shipping $$$, it's Media Mail: I use two types of good boxes that people seem to like: 13 x 13 x 1 1/2" (holds 4-5 single LPs and it's $4 Media Mail for the first single LP & $1.00 for each additional LP up to the box capacity) and 13 x 13 x 3" (holds about 7-9 single LPs and it's $6.00 Media Mail for the first LP & $1.00 for each additional LP up to the box capacity). I can also ship outside the continental U.S. but that usually gets a little expensive so please keep that in mind.
