First Pressing from 1969 with Matrices: A1/B1.

This is a superb example of this mega-rare album!

Sleeve: Garrard & Lofthouse Ltd sleeve with triple flipbacks in really great condition. All the laminate on the front is tight; there's no damage at all - the spine is still rigid and there is minimal evidence of ringwear or creasing with very little feathering on the open edges. The laminate extends to the rear on the flip-back tags and is complete. Top left rear is the remains of a biro-written price (£1) but it's very small. The remainder of the matt finished read sleeve is, again, undamaged with slight discolouring due to handling over the last 42 years!

Vinyl Weight: A mammoth 185 grams!! They don't come much heavier than this LP! 

Vinyl Condition & Grading: The vinyl is deep black and clean with only a few light markings. On the lead-in to S1T1 there is a soft click which is pretty much inaudible under the high energy of the music. It disappears somewhere during T2 and the rest of the LP is very clear indeed. And the sound itself? It's fantastic, every nuance can be heard in detail.

Album Played For Grading: Yes. (Equipment: Linn Sondek LP12, Linn Ekos arm, Linn K9 moving coil cartridge, tracking at 2 grams into a Cambridge Audio Azur 340A amp and out to a pair of Bose speakers with a Super Woofer)
