Absolutely stunning copy of the original 1974 first pressing of Neil Young’s classic On the Beach LP on Reprise R-2180. Original labels with no Warner Brothers logo in the edge, and with the floral design on the inside of the cover. Today seen as more of a classic than it was at the time, a sort of “low-fi” rebellion against his own success with the recent Harvest album. Paired down and very raw, maybe one of his best records. This copy is simply gorgeous. The disc is near perfect and plays completely flawlessly and just beautifully. There is one light superficial mark visible at the end of side one but it doesn’t make the slightest sound. One or two entirely superficial scuffs but really barely at all. Almost mint. Plays mint. The cover is also nearly mint, with initials written at the right side, and only very very light signs of gentle use. Truly a top, beautiful original copy, hard to beat.
