NEIL YOUNG FIRST UNTITLED ALBUM. UK ISSUE REPRISE TAN RIVERBOAT stereo
From what I have learnt from the listing of another copy of this album,[ made by someone who obviously knows his stuff], this is very much a rarity. It is the REPRISE tan riverboat label issue, with the Garrod and Lofthouse cover, and the numbers stamped on the disc show it to be a first pressing. The stamped numbers are indentical to the other listing. They are
RSLP 6317A-1 *T and RSLP 6317B-1 *T
I have played this through completely. and I personally am not aware of any surface noise. There are a couple of marks, which at first glance look like scratches, but whatever they are they DO NOT come through when the record is played. The only really noticeable fault on the cover, is a bit of discolouring, about3mm wide, down the right hand edge, caused by the laminated top surface, not going all the way to the edge of the cardboard. There is the almost requisite remains of a price label, top right on the front of the cover, but the strange dark mark on right hand edge is not on the sleeve, must be a shadow from something. This one has been in my record collection for an indeterminate length of time, being as I don't even remember where I bought it!
We are starting a major refurbishment of the lounge, and there is a pile of stuff to get rid of. Mainly LPs which have not been played for ages, and books, that haven't been referred to for ages!
PLEASE READ THIS BIT! I am only a 'domestic' eBayer, and as such do not have the oppotunity to visit the Post Office, or Bank, every day. Anyone using Paypal by mid morning , on the day after sale, will normally get their items posted that day. However, my 'normal' work will occassionally involve me being unavailable to pack and post parcels, at short notice. For that rare occurence, I can only apologise in advance. My postal charges reflect that I use recorded delivery for my Postings, and more often than not these days, having to use new {not reused] packing materials. I accept Paypal, personal cheques, or uncrossed postal orders.AN UNCROSSED POSTAL ORDER IS NEARLY AS QUICK AS PAYPAL! E-cheques are best avoided, because of the disproportionate time taken to clear. I have known these take over a fortnight. FEEDBACK. I use buyers feedback as an indication that item has been recieved. At which point I will leave feedback for buyer. Buying from me helps the survival of a rural Post Office!
BORING BUT IMPORTANT BIT. CHECKOUT TO BE COMPLETED, and payment to be recieved within 7 days of item finishing, otherwise its a case of report to ebay, and relist/ second chance offer.Multiple purchases will result in a recalculated, fair post and packing charge. Thanks for looking and happy bidding. Check out my other items!
