According to band member Paul Collins, this one with the black back cover and white print is the first edition of the first pressing. Later pressings were born with a back cover with black lettering on a white background. Old eBay prices: £245 + $311 + $300 + $275. A legendary powerpop classic from California, released in 1976. Without a doubt the best American powerpop record ever released. You loved the version by BLONDIE, wait till you hear this original by the NERVES. Self-released on their own private mini label (catalogue number N4501). It includes the original version of ‘Hanging On The Telephone’ which was, as I mentioned, a hit, 2 years later, for BLONDIE. The quality of the four tracks on this 7" EP have not been equalled during the 45 years that have passed since its release. You can also listen to the charmers ‘When You Find Out’ / ‘Give Me Some Time’ and ‘Working Too Hard’. Musicwise it rarely gets any better than this. Recorded by Jack Lee and Paul Collins from the BEAT and Peter Case of the PLIMSOULS. The sleeve shows a soft ringwear and the opening side is slightly wrinkled including a small tear otherwise the condition is:

Mailing / Versand: all records will be sent in plain white 7“ sleeves outside of the picture sleeves to avoid any seam splits (alle Platten werden in einer neutralen weißen 7“ Hülle außerhalb des Plattencovers verschickt, um Beschädigungen am Originalcover zu vermeiden). All records will be shipped in special record mailers. Two cardboard paddings (the best) will be used to avoid bending. Ebenso werden alle Platten entsprechend stabil in speziellen Schallplatten-Versandkartons mit zwei dicken Pappkartons verpackt.
