THE NEW BREED-45-“Big Time” b/w “Summer’s Comin’”-In Crowd Records #LA-2-1495-MONSTER 1967 FUZZ GUITAR Driven Dallas TEXAS Garage-Punk…Most of you may know the A side from assorted Texas comps-if not, A side is totally over-the-edge-non-stop sharp fuzz guitar punctuated throughout with a Vox Continental organ in the mix and a guttural and powerful lead vocal; structure is loosely synonymous to the Moving Sidewalks’ “Every Night A New Surprise” with a Kinks-ish chorus…B side is of the same nature with an off-on backup harmony vocal—Strangely, the turnaround chord progression reminds me of the one in the Moving Sidewalks “99th Floor”. Band was formerly named the Mystics who put out a couple of 45’s as well…cool band…TEXAS RULES!
Condition: Record is close to VG-; has some light scuffs/surface scuffs/light surface scrapes visible in certain light angles…some light wear, a couple of very light surface scratches visible in certain light angles…plays GREAT with minimal background noise due to the ULTRALOUD AND POWERFUL CONTENT.Label clean both sides ... some light wear…
