Description
THis is a quite rare and obscure record from a band called New Continent. The album is called World One World, and it was self-released on Vision Records in 1988. The music is quite good, if a bit of an odd combination - it mixes the minimalist electropop music of the early 80s (synths, analog and digital programming, sequencers & samples) with hi-tech and melodic (almost trancelike) AOR. It's very well-produced without sounding too commercial. This is one record that has to be heard to be appreciated, it really is a pretty killer album! Synth fans and AOR fans alike should appreciate this one. The cover is VG++ with just a bit of corner wear and ring rubbing on the back, and still has the shrinkwrap. The vinyl is VG+ with only the faintest surface scuffs.
The songs are: Fashion and Style, A Little Rain, Blue Sky, House of Stone, See Your World, Open Your Eyes, Dreaming in Still Life, Where is Love.
