Description
Artist: NEW HOPE
Title: UPLIFT
Label / Cat#: PINNACLE SOUND PRODUCTIONS INC / LPS 1001 (ORIGINAL PRIVATE PRESSING)
VINYL: (EXCELLENT MINUS/VERY GOOD PLUS) Music plays through strong & loud with some light pop & crackle here & there, but nothing at all distracting or very notable. The vinyl is still very shiny with a few very light marks/scuffs, nothing effecting strength of play. Please do take a listen to the excerpts taken from the actual record below as heard on my turntable. The labels look great with no notable signs of wear.
COVER: (VERY GOOD PLUS) The cover looks really nice with a bit of edge & shelf wear and a small amount of discoloring/staining on the top edge. Please check out the pictures to see it for your yourself too.
This auction is for the amazing original private pressing of the "UPLIFT" LP by NEW HOPE. A real tough one to find especially a copy in such nice shape, this is a rare weird record still only known of by a select handful of collectors. Some very outsider & decidedly weird covers here, stuff like "Free Bird" and "You Are My Love And My Life" done with a really unique psychedelic naive vibe.
Please do take a listen to these excerpts:
