Description
Highly collectible 1985 Peter Saville designed release for Factory Records.
Factory became renowned for their attention to design detail, working across various mediums. Peter Saville, either working for or beyond Factory Communications Ltd., produced cutting-edge and influential work for the likes of Joy Division, New Order, OMD, Byrne & Eno, Wham, Electronic etc.
Box/Housing is in VG+ condition: it is a white 12cm x 17cm x 2cm cloth-covered card flip-top opening box. Inside this is a moulded black plastic housing which secures the cassette.
Postcards are in Ex condition: the first is from The national Gallery collection - Roses by Ignace-Henri-Jean-Theodore FANTIN-LATOUR (1836-1904). This is the image more often associated with the other various issues of this album.
The other card is a Saville design - tracklist and other information in silver foil stamped on solid matte black coated card.
Cassette is in Ex condition, both plastic body and tape.
This would be a superb addition to the collection of a JD/New order/Factory enthusiast. Also anyone with an interest in 20th Century post-punk music-design.
