You are bidding on the very rare 1977 LP "New Rain: The Story Of Jesus In Song" by Stephen C. Rose with Alice Spotz, Irene Yassos, Lois Rose & Larry Spatz on Persephone Records, cat.#1031. One of the most authentic progressive folk albums of the Jesus Music era, it gets a glowing review in Ken Scott's "Archivist, 3rd. Ed.". Styles such as old American fok, Hebrew folk, acoustic blues & bluegrass with instruments such as banjo, mandolin, violin, Irish harp, recorder, percussion, bass, guitar make for a rich and extremely satisfying musical experience. Scott's closing comment pretty much says it all, "These guys are the real thing" and the baldman definitely agrees! Songs include My Soul/Generations: The Lines Are Ended!/The Birth Of Jesus: Isaiah 53/Ballad Of Herod/Song To Mary/John's Song Medley-Winds Of Rebellion, See The Crowds/Devil's Song/The Touch Of His Hand/Kingdom Of Heaven/Pharisee Blues/Finale: Ballad, Question Song, Where Is The New Rain?, Resurrection Vision (Were You There?, Bright Morning Stars).
