Here's our SCARCE 1st PRESS copy of the New York Dolls' 1973 debut LP with wonderful vinyl! First, the cover is only VG-, and though it's NOT splitting, both the top and bottom corners are rough and ready. The spine is legible but all edges have wear, and corners are bumped rounded and just a bit rough. But don't get me wrong, while it's not good enough to brag, it's still a very solid ORIGINAL cover. The vinyl inside is SO clean and shiny, still good color, and NO SCRATCHES! GREAT vinyl, with the original custom record label. You WILL hear some used vinyl sound here and there, it's almost 30 years old, but as I'm listening to it now, it sounds loud and just fantastic. David Johanneson's vocals and Johnny Thunders' guitar are mastered loud, this is a STERLING MASTER, so get ready to rock with this legendary band. It is wrapped in the original custom sleeve that has splitting but is otherwise in fine shape. This is a VERY hard to find FIRST PRESS with unusually good vinyl and a cover that good but not great. Get this while we've got it, we've only got the one, and their second album is soon up for sale: "Too Much Too Soon", another 1st press I believe. Look for it in our store full of new, vintage sealed records, and lots of scarce / rare LPs as well. We're liquidating a lot of our more hard to find records to fund a record store in our garage here in NE Oregon, getting closer everyday, painting and building record racks soon. Hopefully the state will let us open when we're done, but more importantly, hopefully this crummy current national health issue will be fixed with a cure. We've been selling on eBay for awhile now, having stopped for a slew of surgeries and now retired from employment because of it. We use official LP mailers with the record outside the cover, and in clean white sleeves separately from any photo inner sleeves. All vinyl is cleaned with an enzyme spray then finished with a SpinClean Machine. With sealed vinyl, please understand that we will only accept returns if the LP is still sealed, which is for our financial protection as well as yours.
