I am auctioning the now famous Newcastle Big Bands 1st and only LP, this record was privately pressed just 20 miles up the road from me yet, due to the numbers actually pressed is even a hard record to find here! Made at Impulse studios this was limited to according to the record collector book 2,000, however having spoke to a gentleman from Tynemouth here in the north east, who had a hand in the production of this record, it was suggested to me that they pressed about that number of covers, but actually at the time sold far far less, possibly only 100s of these were sold, mainly at gigs.
VINYL = VG++ it does have a few light marks mostly very light hairlines, I am grading this under a spotlight, so I'm sure you will be happy with the grading, the lables are also vg++ with no writing or tears, all in all a rare item to own.
COVER = VG as these covers were never laminated and were pressed on inferior white card (probably because of production costs) the spine has split in the centre where the record has come through it at some point, the sleeve is complete with no writing although it does show signs of ringwear and has a few stain marks (see photos) although it sounds terrible I have seen much much worse.
