1968 UK IMMEDIATE 1-SIDED TEST PRESSING

Here is a super-rare, impossible to find original 1968 uk Immediate label 1-sided test pressing of the excellent 'Nice' psych album ''Ars Longa Vita Brevis''. There must have only been just a couple of these 1-sided test pressing ever made. This copy has the '1-G' mother/stamper codes, and also the earliest 'IMSP. 020-1Y-2' album code neatly machine stamped in the run-off of the playing side. Being a earliest advanced test pressing the labels are plain white, but the playing side has a custom printed Immediate sample label attached with hand written track-listing and album/band title. The plain white card cover has three flip-backs, on the front there is a '8 Nov 1968' date stamp and also the album code hand-written. This original 1968 uk 1-sided test pressing really is pretty much impossible to find and i seriously doubt that another will turn up in the near future (if ever), so this is a very rare opportunity for the Nice/ELP or psych/prog collector to get their hands on a super-rare unique piece of late 60s uk psych in really excellent clean condition. Just try and find another, you won't.

The vinyl has a superb original deep glossy sheen and looks as close to MINT as you will ever find, there are no noticeable surface marks, scuffs or scratches, there are just a few extremely light sleeve withdrawal traces that are mainly only visible in much stronger light, it's very obvious that this super-rare 1968 test pressing has been very well looked after and has been barely played at all. When played through there are some small amounts of occasional background crackle to be heard, as this record has only ever had just one or two plays there is no lessoning in the sound quality. The white paper inner sleeve is in excellent very clean condition with no splits. The plain white outer card flip-back cover is also in excellent condition with just a few light signs of handling and age.
