Description

Nick Drake , "Five Leaves Left" Island Records ILPS 9105. Stereo. 1969. Gatefold sleeve.

This is the ultra rare first pressing with the "black block" or "black circle" Pink Island label (see second scan provided). A fantastic album that needs no introduction, Perhaps Nick Drake's finest recording.

Condition:
The sleeve is VG+, there is wear to the seams but the seams are still fully intact, and a sticker mark top right , which is shown in the cover scan, and some ring wear, but none of this is unduly bad, pretty acceptable considering the rarity of this item.

The LP itself is probably best described as EX-. There are a few visual surface marks but it is nice and clean and plays really well , no deep scratches and so plays with no scratch disturbance, so it would probably be misleading to grade it lower than EX-. Overall a really enjoyable disc even with its imperfections!
