Description
NICK DRAKE - FIVE LEAVES LEFT VINYL LP ILPS 9105 with misprints UK 1st press.
Please read carefully and note: UK POSTAGE ONLY
Here we have a lovely first pressing of Five Leaves Left. This 1969 edition features the iconic and scarce Pink Island/black block logo, Cat number: ILPS 9105
I have listed the gatefold condition as good and I would err on the side of very good considering its 50+ years old and has been stored reasonably well. There is however, wear to the spine which I have tries to capture, as you can see the title is still legible and fortunately there is no cracking and the fold is still strong. Other than the spine there is some light wear on the cover in the usual spots above the artists name and the left hand and bottom edges.
The record itself has recently been cleaned professionally and I have taken it out to test - it plays excellently throughout as reflected in its glossy and clean appearance. There are NO WARPS. I believe the previous owner played it only once or twice from when they bought it new in Woolworths all those years back.
Misprints:
First Pressing with corrected label on side 1. Released on a pink Island label with black ''block'' logo, in a fold-out cover.
'Day Is Done' & 'Way To Blue' track listing is reversed on cover list but label is correct. Album actually plays 'Way to Blue' followed by 'Day is Done'.
Tristan Fry credited as TristaM Fry on Saturday Sun. (Source: Discogs)
The record will be sent via Royal Mail - 1st classed tracked and signed for to the UK.
No international shipping - I am not prepared to risk the journey. No returns.
Thanks for looking and happy bidding!
