NICK DRAKE ON 3 TRACKS PLAYING GUITAR: 'I WISH I WAS A SINGLE GIRL AGAIN' / 'FULL FATHOM FIVE' / 'WITH MY SWAG ALL ON MY SHOULDER'.
THIS DOUBLE LP WAS ISSUED IN VERY SMALL QUANTITIES (ESTIMATED TO BE 50-100 PRESSED) TO SCHOOLS BY MAIL ORDER ONLY; AS YOU CAN IMAGINE, THERE ARE ONLY A HANDFUL SURVIVING AS MOST WOULD HAVE BEEN DISPOSED OF WHEN FINISHED WITH IN THE CLASSROOM.
MY RESEARCH INDICATES ONLY 5 HAVE BEEN AVAILABLE ON THE OPEN MARKET IN 15 YEARS. THIS IS ONE OF THEM.
IN THE OFFICIAL NICK DRAKE BOOK, 'REMEMBERED FOR A WHILE' PAGE. 443, THERE IS REFERENCE TO THIS LP SELLING FOR CLOSE TO
£2500 gbp A FEW YEARS AGO. (see pic).
THIS COMES FROM MY PERSONAL COLLECTION. AND IS NOW TIME TO PASS ALONG TO THE NICK DRAKE FAN WHO WANTS THE TRUE, COMPLETE DISCOGRAPHY.
Cover - EX some laminate creasing, but no laminate lifting anywhere. No seam splits, no tears, no writing. A tiny stain on the bottom left front cover. Very nice and presentable
Vinyl - both lp's EX Extremely shiny laquer on both lps. Just brilliant. Under very strong light, just a couple very minor thin, hairlines/sleeve removal line. See close-up pics for detail. No writing or stickers on the labels. You could search for decades finding another with the 2 lp's in this lovely condition.
