NICK DRAKE Pink Moon LP 1972 ISLAND PINK RIM SUPERB
Up for auction is a very rare LP titled "Pink Moon" by Nick Drake. Apart from some of the blemishes mentioned below, it's still in fantastic condition, considering that it's 34 years old ! It's not very often that you'd come across this album in such condition.

Side 1 - 1-9318-H-3, 2 1. Side 2 - 2-9318-H-3, 1.
COVER:
The gatefold cover is made of very thick and sturdy cardboard. I could feel the tightness when opening it up wide to take pictures of.
Spine - Graded EXCELLENT+++.Front - Graded EXCELLENT+++.
Rear - Graded EXCELLENT, due to half-moon impressions and whitish marks (due to storage) close to the top edges (pls see photo).
Top edges - very slight shelf marks. Graded EXCELLENT to EXCELLENT+.
Bottom edges - More shelf marks compared to the top edges. Graded EXCELLENT(-).
Opening edges - No feathering, perfectly straight. Graded EXCELLENT, due to the slight wear to the upper half .
Corners - EXCELLENT(-).
INNER SLEEVE:
Original light-blue sleeve with the famed ISLAND Records' pink "i" logo, clearly visible at the bottom of the sleeve (pls see photo). Graded EXCELLENT+++..
LABELS:
Side 1 - Bright, crystal clear, easily graded EXCELLENT+++.Side 2 - Bright, crystal clear, easily graded EXCELLENT+++.
VINYL
Visual
Still shiny and flat vinyl. There are some hairline marks when viewed at an angle and under bright light. Graded EXCELLENT to EXCELLENT+.
Audio
The fact that the whole album is an acoustic set would certainly amplify any static noise that's present on the record, especially on quiet parts. Yet only some minor background noise is audible in places. The one that's on the last track of Side 2, unfortunately, is more pronounced as some pops and a slight skip can be heard. Other than that, I'm still of the opinion that it's a superb sounding record.
Side 1 - Graded EXCELLENT+++. Side 2 - Graded EX to EX++.

USA, Europe - US$18.00. Asia - US$16.00. Insurance (optional): Extra US$3.50. The album with additional protective sleeves alone weighs 480 gm.
The record will be protected in an anti-static inner and placed in a cardboard sleeve, seperated from the cover.
