'The Tin Man Was A Dreamer'
CBS, UK, 1973

HOPKINS was, of course, renowned for his close association with the Rolling Stones - In fact he was always perceived as a 6th member but his poor health prevented him from actually joining them. Sadly, crippling complications from Crohn's disease led to his death in 1994. This album fuses a variety of styles yet with both feet in a rock mood. The playing is superlative and the guests are brilliantly complimentary.
