On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Nico called 'The Marble Index' and is a UK 1968 1st pressing on the 1st Press 'Textured' Elektra label!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO LOCATE!!!!  THIS IS THE RAREST NICO LP BY FAR AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!   BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS ITS SUPERB CONDITION!!!!  THE RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL AND BOTH THE COVER AND RECORD ARE IN SUPERB CONDITION!!!!  THIS IS THE 1968 UK 1ST PRESSING ON THE 1ST PRESS 'TEXTURED' ELEKTRA LABEL, 1ST PRESS INNER SLEEVE AND 1ST PRESS FULLY LAMINATED 'MacNEILL' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS EXTREMELY RARE, AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND IN THIS SUPERB CONDITION - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! This is the ORIGINAL UK 1st pressing from 1968 and is in STUNNING condition!!!! The Cat. No is EKS 74029 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Textured' Elektra label (see picture) and is a 1968 Stereo 1st pressing!!!! All the tracks are Pure quality Nico at her best!!!! Any fan of Nico, The Velvet Underground, or 60s music in general, will want to have this in their collection!!!!

The record labels are in AWESOME condition (see pictures) with NO wear, NO writing, and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!! IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS ONLY EVER BEEN PLAYED 2 OR 3 TIMES AT THE VERY MOST!!!! The vinyl is in AWESOME condition!!!! Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!! ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!!  It is great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!!  It plays with NO nasty loud pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, NO hiss and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  This LP is full of quiet moments and it is virtually IMPOSSIBLE to find one that plays quietly.  BUT THIS ONE DOES!!!!  In fact this is the QUIETEST playing 1st Pressing of this LP I have EVER heard!!!!  It plays with CRYSTAL CLEAR sound quality, absolutely NO distortion, NO groovewear - and even the quietest moments play in absolute SILENCE!!!!  In fact the only TINY thing to mention is 2 or 3 dull clicks from a TINY pressing bobble (only visible when viewed under the BRIGHTEST light) in the opening seconds of Side 1 - but this is EXACTLY how this record was pressed from manufacture - so this isnt included in the grading, though of course it must be mentioned. The record must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!! SUPERB RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve!!!! The 1st Press FULLY LAMINATED Cover is in SUPERB condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, barely ANY spinal wear (whole spine is UNWORN apart from a couple of TINY areas), only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), STUNNING shiny laminate, only a VERY few light creases (Cover is VERY flat looking indeed), and NO writing!!!! The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the laminated back is in SUPERB condition with NO writing, NO grubbyness, and NO yellowing!!!! The cover must grade Excellent(Minus) if not better!!!! THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND IN THIS SUPERB CONDITION, AND IS SERIOUSLY RARE - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
