NIG-HEIST - Snort My Load LP SST ORIGINAL TEST PRESSING BLACK FLAG
The Nig-Heist were a joke-rock band led by vocalist Steve "Mugger" Corbin. Mugger is best remembered as a roadie for Black Flag and was a one-time co-owner of SST Records. For the Nig-Hiest, Mugger was backed by a revolving door of musicians, generally drawn from the Black Flag/SST circle, most of whom played in disguise or behind amplifiers on stage. The lyrics were generally about crude and vulgar obsessions with sex, as the band's main goal was to antagonize and irritate audiences. I was told by a famous SST band member that their primary purpose was to get Mugger laid. The band's peak was most likely an opening slot on Black Flag and the Meat Puppets' 1984 tour.This is a test pressing of the original Thermidor release; the record was later reissued by Drag City
Their is no sleeve, just writing on the white label, and it appears unplayed.
