The only album from German band Night Sun is a brilliant discovery, an obscure album that is so bloody great.

It starts with the proto metal Plastic Shotgun a very exciting track that has to be played loud, track is enhanced by its underground garage vibe and nasty enough to justify its swagger. Crazy Woman keeps up the heat with that organ nearly set alight, more bluesy this one but still with that dirty garage gang vibe. Got a Bone of my Own takes us down to the killing dungeon, this your pure early 70's Dazed and Confused/Death Walks Behind You heavy metal my friends it is a very fine effort. Slush Pan Man hits the spot with a Deep Purplish rhythm, excellent track that just clings to you.

The album's B side kicks off with the scary Living With The Dying, its nasty leather clad simple but very effective riff helping it to be yet another superb Hard Rock track on this exceptional album. Lovely angelic Come Down is next and this again is really good, it moves easily into a heavier area before returning to its original vibe, blending all its parts seamlessly and with the fading off of the electric guitar ends the song perfectly. Blind is exceptional again very Deep Purple and even captures their groove, great great song so bloody infectious. Nightmare goes along the same lines as Blind with its Purple rhythm only it is so fast, this band can really play and we round off an easy 5 star album with the heavy jazz of Don't Start Flying, the rhythm section ferociously punching the song upwards
