A fabulous recording of orchestra and harpsichord, long recognized on the TAS list as the best of its kind in classical vinyl.

It features a splendid performance by Trevor Pinnock, the only musician to rival Gustave Leonhardt's hold on harpsichord for the last thirty years.  Whatsmore, the selections are as varied as they are tasty.  Included is the TAS recommended CONCERTINO FOR HARPSICHORD AND STRING ORCHESTRA, together with MUSIC FOR STRING ORCHESTRA, A MIDSUMMER'S NIGHT DREAM (Suite), and THE FROGS, all by Leigh.

Note, too, this copy belonged to an audiophile of some measure and comes to you very well tended.  Simply has a tiny cueing error upfront on one side; otherwise, pristine.

A fabulous recording, with great presence in any of the listening rooms I've ever heard it in.
