Description
For auction is "NINA SIMONE And Her Friends," on Bethlehem BCP-6041, MONO, DG, 1959. With Carmen McRae and Chris Connor.
SOUND: VG+It has been machine-cleaned and I listened to both sides completely. The sound is wonderful, with only a slight trace of background noise here and there, nothing to worry about.
VINYL: VGVisually, the vinyl has a few stray light marks or scuffs. Playback is better than the visual! On deep-grooved, maroon and silver labels.
COVER: VG+The cover is heavy cardboard. The glossy front cover is clean and unmarked, but show modest ring-wear The back is also very clean and unmarked with routine age-spots. The edges are solid all around, and the corners have modest wear or softening. Altogether, a very nice cover.

Every record I auction has been cleaned on a Nitty Gritty vacuum/cleaner. I played every record to determine if there are static, tics, pops, hisses, what have you. I endeavor to thoroughly report any extraneous audio "noise" or problems of any significance. Other than that, I will report on the general condition of each record, both vinyl and jacket, according to Goldmine standards, to the best of my ability.
Every record is put into a new, clean sleeve insert. In the case of an interesting original sleeve insert, I'll include that in the sale.
If you're into this stuff, you might want to save me to your seller's list and check back periodically. I'll be putting a lot of vintage jazz records up for auction.
