Originally written by Tina Turner’s sister, Alline Bullock this song is a scathing assessment of a Dirty, Dirty Old Man, renamed Funkier Than a Mosquito’s Tweeter. The first released version of it was performed by a roaring Ike and Tina Turner single in 1971, but in 1974, Nina Simone resurrected this song and is now recognised as one of Simone’s most remarkable vocal performances.
Record is unmarked and near mint. One side is 33 the other is 45 rpm.
