ICARO 2000 / UNA MANO STA SCRIVENDO NEL CIELO ... 7-inch, 45rpm single by NINI'S GROUP aka NINO CARUCCI. 

Original Italian pressing on the DURIUM label (LdA 7623), from 1969. Still practically unknown and absolutely killer lounge funk by the cult composer and special FX expert, Nino Carucci with crack studio session men. The ICARO 2000 theme is an inspired and ultra-funky take on the space age exotica sound with heavy fuzz distortions / booming horn section / hammond / hard jazz piano / strings and B-boy drum breaks spliced with delirious spoken word narration. Great for DJs. Booming production. Sounds like a missing theme from the Mirageman Thunder and Lightning session (but even better ;) Seldom comes up for sale. Superb artwork sleeve too. Very rare 45!!!
