Island ILPS 9087 Stereo Stamped matrix ILPS+9087+A ILPS+9087+B Laminated sleeve
Vinyl looks EX with just a couple of faint hairlines. Lovely glossy sheen and rich black vinyl. Nice copy.
Sleeve looks EX with NO wear to edges over than a tiny surface split to spine. Some laminate lift and minor laminate creases, slight ring impression
Labels are lovely and clean, some age marks and some evidence of play. Superb!
Audio playback: Excellent+! Some very slight background crackle and hiss on initial run ins and in between tracks, NOT audible in song audio! A few ticks here and there. Note on my very first playback I noted two very quick skips right at the start of side one (in first 3-4 seconds), but after a clean and dust removal it no longer skips on my system but has two clicks in the same place (I have recorded it to mp3 and feel free to ask for a listen). Thereafter the rest of the audio is superb, very clean in song audio, very little background crackle, even the quieter song sections sound superb, an occasional light tick here and there (notably a few ticks in between tracks, but not in song audio). Without those two initial pops and the in-between-track ticks it would be very close to Near Mint audio. Tone and volume is superb from this lovely chunky first press vinyl from 1968.
