THIS specific copy was the one used for one of two reviews that ran in Your Flesh Fanzine and which was featured in the Charles Peterson photography book, Touch Me I'm Sick published and edited by Jenny Boddy and Charles Peterson on PowerHouse Press back in 2003. For those of you in the know, both reviews of this single were PANNED by the publication. I should know, I published and edited Your Flesh from 1981 to 2004 (now exists on-line so not completely dead and gone so I guess that means till present, right?).
SPECIAL TERMS and SHIPPING FOR THIS ITEM: Please read before bidding:
PLEASE bid ONLY if you have the dough to pay for this within the first 24 hours of auction's closure.
PLEASE wait for us to issue an invoice BEFORE you pay, thank you.
RECORD TO SHIP EXPRESS MAIL so normal shipping standards not applicable on this auction. Record will be professionally packaged and shipped using EXPRESS MAIL as this will include insurance for full purchase value of record along with proof of delivery AND most importantly will see that your valuable purchase will be expedited to your doorstep in an expedient manner.
RETURN will be accepted ONLY if you contact us in writing within the first 24 hours of receipt so you'll have to be sure to vet the quality of your purchase first thing. There's no reason why the door should remain open on this issue more then a day of it's physical acceptance -- fourteen days lee-way is not realistic for an item of this value and I'm not interested in any drama.
I'm describing this item as NEAR MINT across the board. I'm doing so to err on the side of being conservative as the record was only played no more then twice, has been stored properly in a smoke free, climate controlled environment and is in very, very exceptionally clean condition. Every one has a different idea of what mint is which is exactly why I'm erring as such here and not claiming it to be that high of caliber though to my standards (not yours) it very much is.
THIS IS A RARE RECORD with an extremely low starting price and with NO RESERVE. The last time I sold one of these was for Tom Hazelmyer of Amphetamine Reptile Records and if I'm not mistaken it remains as the one copy having received more then any other copy (over $3,000.00) sold. Being realistic I'm not expecting to get that much here but I do expect to get fair market value. SERIOUS BIDDERS with the FUNDS ON HAND only, please. THANK YOU!
Condition: • Vinyl is NEAR MINT / Picture Sleeve is NEAR MINT •
This specific title is part of a 5,000 piece record collection I am in the process of unloading and comprised wholly of fringe and underground music of all stripes. Punk, Post-Punk, KBD, SXE, Industrial, Experimental, Metal, Electronica, Goth, Free Jazz, Jazz, Sound Effects, etc.... so check back as I'll be posting on average 50 pieces or more a week. All records in this collection run primarily as being NEAR MINT with many being more to the top end of the MINT spectrum and with very few pieces being anything less then VERY GOOD PLUS.... Tons of rarities, all must go!!!!
