100% ORIGINAL 1st Pressing in absolute top condition!!!

NIRVANA "Love Buzz w/ Big Cheese" #976/1000 Sub-Pop 45 ULTRA RARE

Auction is for an ULTRA RARE 100% ORIGINAL 1st U.S. PRESSING of NIRVANA'S "LOVE BUZZ / BIG CHEESE" 45RPM 7" SINGLE from 1988 on Sub-Pop Records (Cat. #SP23).

*IMPORTANT NOTE: This is the 3rd time this has been offered for auction in the last 5 months. In both prior cases, the high bidder reneged on the purchase. It goes without saying but please do not bid on this auction if you will not be following thru with payment within 3 days of auctions end.

Nirvana's recorded debut, issued as the 1st release in the Sub-Pop Singles Club, this particular copy is #976 of the 1st press run of 1000 numbered copies. Purchased 4 or 5 years back from a couple who actually owned two copies, they had obtained these during Nirvana's heyday and assured me that they had never even been played. Obviously I cannot verify that statement but it certainly appears that way as the vinyl is absolutely flawless and labels are also devoid of any spindle marks and/or wear. The picture sleeve cover is in top shape, it just has a few very light, mild creases/dings that are barely visible. I took photos of all 3 of them (they are the last ones posted) up close in bright natural light so they can be seen as clearly as possible to ensure no surprises for the buyer. The last copy of this that sold on eBay just a month or two back went for over $2,600… get a copy as nice as that one here for cheaper!

Side A matrix/etching reads as follows… "SP-23-A Why Don't You Trade Those Guitars For Shovels? L-31540 Kdisc". Side B matrix/etching reads as follows… "SP-23-B L-31540X Kdisc". I took a picture in the light of the "Love Buzz" a-side etching "Why don't you trade those guitars for shovels?" (see 6th photo). Also, the 7th photo is to show the names ALICE WHEELER & SUSANNE SASIC are clearly legible while on subsequent issues it's blurred due to the dark background.
