NIRVANA Nevermind First Pressing LP "GL1” matrix 1991 DGC - VG cond.
Here is a true first pressing issue of Nirvana’s legendary enormo-smash ‘Nevermind’ from 1991. It’s got all of the right markers: upside down inner sleeve, GL1 matrix in the dead wax. It’s the real deal that I’ve owned since 1993.Here are the flaws: the cover has slight wear on the corners, the inner sleeve has a split on one side (pictured) and the bottom, and there is very light scuffing on the vinyl. There are some light crackles, primarily at the start of each side. I don’t know if these will clean up with a pro cleaning. In any case, this one plays well and is a nice copy without serious flaws. I’d conservatively rate the vinyl at VG and the cover at VG+.
I tried to make everything look as bad as possible in the photos so ther would be no surprises.There is no warping.
It plays well and is great sounding pressing. I haven’t cleaned it professionally, I’ve only cleaned it using a discwasher system.
I’ll pack it properly for shipment.
