You are bidding on impossibly rare UK pressing of this early Nirvana gem "Sliver" b/w "Dive". Released by The Tupelo Recording company in 1991, this pre-Nevermind era Nirvana single was pressed up in an unthinkably tiny edition of 2,000 copies, of which the first 1,000 were on sweet army green vinyl. Not many of the scant 2,000 made it to the states. Not only that, but the UK version we have here is different from all other pressings in that it's a fold-out gatefold sleeve with a rad Michael Lavine photo of Kurt & Company jamming in a small club before fame and the rest took hold. This is one of the rarest of the rare Nirvana vinyl pieces, and you never ever see it surface online, so be sure not to sleep on this one. This record has been cleaned on a professional grade VPI record cleaning machine. Having inspected the vinyl and sleeve under a 200 watt bulb, I would describe the vinyl as very good plus, with some slight marks on side two which cannot be felt and do not effect play. Side one has some even fainter marks, and plays great as well. The sleeve is in great shape as well, with only very minimal ringwear on the back, but no markings, defacements or other such nastiness. Overall the record is in fantastic shape.

This record will be shipped in a new cardboard mailer designed for shipping records, NOT in some jury-rigged postal box.
