NIRVANA

"SMELLS LIKE NIRVANA" 7" EP

SUPER RARE TEST PRESSING 



Black vinyl test pressing for the original 1991 pressing of one of the first ever Nirvana bootleg 7" singles ever made. Rare as hell.


Only a very small amount of these exist. Probably only 5 or 6 of these were ever made. One of a kind!


This is a super cool item. This has been in my collection since the mid 90s. I was the only owner of this single as I got it directly from the person who originally pressed the single. 


Features a totally unique handwritten test pressing sleeve! Label features handwriting from the pressing plant. This features the catalog number used in house at the pressing plant. This matches the matrix on the record. The matrix text is mostly scratched out but can be seen slightly and reads: CRW-143-A & CRW-143-B


Handwriting on the back of the paper sleeve says "Greg Lee" and that is the company that cut the lacquer for this record, so this must be in-house notation on the sleeve regarding to where the lacquers came from.

Condition: Played once or twice. Mint. The dust sleeve shows some very minor wear and some smearing of ink over time but this is essentially how the sleeve looked when I obtained the record originally.
