How rare is this ? A black vinyl test pressing of Nirvana's IN UTERO LP. This LP, from what I see on discographies, was only issued in the US on translucent colored vinyl, but here is a US black vinyl test pressing ! I've never had another Nirvana test pressing--that's rare enough. But this near mint one is a true rarity. Matrixes reads S 28236 DGC 24607 A- R2 (and on side 2) same plus B-R2. Super super rare, pressed by Rainbo Records of Santa Monica. Labels are NM, with a small tear on the R of Rainbow on the pictured side. From a Nirvana associate.
