NM 1969 Verve LP FRANK ZAPPA Mothermania SHRINK
Hello and welcome to our sales of fine vintage records, music related items, and popular culture. We will be selling many high grade and scarce examples in the coming days and weeks from a dry nonsmoking, pet-free home. Here is your opportunity to obtain investment grade items at a reasonable price. Relistings are not normally done so if you are interested don't miss your chance.
Artist:Frank Zappa & The Mothers Of Invention Title: Mothermania
Label:Verve Year of release:1969 Catalog/Label number:V6/5068x stereo (Matrix numbers: V6-5068 MGS-1840 and V6-5068 MGS-1841) Blue label original deep groove USA Pressing. Condition of vinyl: NM+ The glossy vinyl record is in outstanding Near Mint plus pristine condition with no signs of more than a few plays. Thick heavy vinyl Record plays flat with no warps. Play grade: Mint- The entire album sounded great and played very well with no problems. No hiss, clicks or skips. Condition of record cover: NM+ Still in Shrinkwrap (opened to play record maybe once or twice. ) Gatefold cover is amazingly clean - LOOKS LIKE COVER NEVER UNFOLDED - tight seams and spine. No cuts, tears, markings, creases or corner bumps. Probably the FINEST EXAMPLE YOU WILL SEE NOT SEALED. These have sold for $100.00++ in this shape. None have surfaced recently so here is your chance. LOW Buy It Now.The only anthology by the first incarnation of the Mothers of Invention issued in it’s lifetime (1966-69) and by far still the greatest one. The album culls the tracks from the first three classic Zappa/Mothers Verve albums: Freak Out, Absolutely Free and We're in it only for the money. Critical Mother*^$#(*&^ piece, one of very few Mother titles never to be issued on CD, and much, much better than subsequent compilations, such as MGM's 1970 "Worst of the Mother*^$#(*& (which kinda lives up to its title).
Track listing: Brown shoes don't make it - Mother people - Duke of Prunes - Call any vegetable - The idiot bastard son - It can't happen here - You are probably wondering why I am here - Who are the brain police - Plastic people - Hungry freaks daddy - America drinks and goes home
