Easily one of, if not THE most important album in the entire history of heavy metal. This was the shot heard round the world when it was unleashed to an unsuspecting public way back in 1970(!) This LP scared the shit out of the much younger me but when I heard it my life was never the same. Even at that age I could sense immediately there was something about this record that was wholly inescapable and unique from everything I had heard up to that point. From the terrifying title track to the jazzy, yet still somehow METAL, Wicked World, every track on here is a stone classic. Immeasurably influential. This is the one album I would easily pick if I only had one to listen to for the rest of my life. If you don't already have this LP you need it. This copy is a MEGA RARE Warner Brothers "ghost shield" cream colored label pressing from 198? with original poly inner sleeve and $5.99 Rolling Stones Records (represent, Chicago!) price sticker with iconic balloon lettering!!! LP is a beautiful near mint minus and cover is still in the original shrink wrap!!! You will not be disappointed.
