THE GREATEST RECORDINGS OF THE 1950's Archive Collection The Franklin Mint Record Society (50 Lps, 1983)
Includes 10 5-LP box sets: The Greatest Recordings of 1950 The Greatest Recordings of 1951 The Greatest Recordings of 1952 The Greatest Recordings of 1953 The Greatest Recordings of 1954 The Greatest Recordings of 1955 The Greatest Recordings of 1956 The Greatest Recordings of 1957 The Greatest Recordings of 1958 The Greatest Recordings of 1959
Barely played.  I could find no marks on any of the LPs that I inspected.  None appear to have been played.  I play tested a few disc at the start of each side.  The vinyl is incredibly quiet.  Exceptional.  Each contains the included 12-page booklet for each year with news stories and highlights about the recordings in stories and pictures.  The accompanying letter is also included.
Each box includes 3 LPs of original hit recordings by the original artists and then 2 LPs of highlights from important artists of the year.  See the list for 1957, 1958 and 1959 in the pictures for examples.  Remember, this set includes all 10 of the 1950's box sets.
The quality of the vinyl and the quality of these pressings is legendary.  Incredibly quiet.
