Description

About This Record.  Here's a sacrifice to pay for plane ticket to Austin TX for the Record Show in two weeks!  For Sale with any Reserve Price! OMG! This is another really cool item from my record collection by The Rolling Stones entitled Hot Rocks, original HYPER RARE gatefold 2LP that has the alternate versions of Brown Sugar and Wild Horses where the music plays out of opposite channels, and where you can hear Keith Richards say "Yeah" after the drum beats at the end of the song Brown Sugar (without turning up the volume).  Matrix numbers read 12-3-71 with "Shelley" and a sterling stamp (see last photo please)  Yes, some copies of this do exist with different matrix numbers than those listed in price guides; another copy like this sold in October 2004 which was authenticated by Good Rockin' Tonight Records as existing on this matrix variation.  I bought this years ago and have stored in carefully in my collection, and just noticed the last time I played it that . . . something really strange was going on with Brown Sugar and Wild Horses, and Austin calls . . I have other copies of this LP that also have the date 12-3-71, but they do NOT have "Shelly" in the trail off and they do not play the alternate mixes.  Look for "Shelle"!!  Please pay by Tuesday night or there will be a delay in payment; that gives you three days for payment.  Please see more detailed grading comments below and please do CHECK my Feedback which shows you my grading Cover/Vinyl of other LPs I have recently sold and what the lucky people who are now taking care of my vinyl thought about our experience.

PLEASE see all my additional photos and details regarding condition of the cover and vinyl below.  The photos of the labels or cover list the songs and any possible details about the labels.  Sometimes I cancel my LPs for sale because I listen to them and decide I cannot sell them.  But I never unlist an LP that someone has bid for if they have reached my reserve bid (in case I have one which is rarely the case).

I offer full refund including shipping both ways (for USA and most foreign buyers who contact me with questions beforehand) in case for some wildly strange reason you might be unhappy with this purchase.  Comes hand-cleaned on my VPI 16.5 Record Cleaning machine (hate those automated 17's) and placed in a new dust-free sleeve for your grandchildren.  And two plastic sleeves for moisture protection (for you and me).

Please note that I work for eBay and this link is to the Code I have to abide by as an eBay employee:  http://pages.ebay.com/help/policies/everyone-employee.html I have no clue who works in the Collectibles Division and am not involved in any policy or other decisions that go on; I just happen to like vinyl and happen to work at eBay

Cover Condition:  Near Mint Minus keeper copy.  Very small corner ding top right front cover corner.

Vinyl Condition: Looks Excellent w/lightest of marks, Plays EX+/better original USA vinyl Keeper Copy!  12-3-71 with Shelley and the alternate sought after tracks of Brown Sugar and Wild Horses.  EXTRAORDINARILY RARE! (see photos of labels)

Inserts: Comes with original London Records color innersleeves that feature LPs on the covers, but also comes cleaned on my VPI Record Cleaning Machine and in a new protective plain paper innersleeve (so the old dust does not reattach!  OH my gosh!!.

Labels:   Near Mint labels  (see photos of all labels).

Packaging.  I clean all vinyl on my V.P.I. Record Cleaning Machine and place it in a new innersleeve so the old dust does not reattach; but I also include the innersleeve that came with the LP if it is the original.  I separate the vinyl in its new sleeve after cleaning from the cover, and place the cover and the separately packed vinyl in at least one if not two plastic outer sleeves that help protect against moisture damage during this cool transition to your record collection.  I use sturdy cardboard containers with real corners and pack with at least one insert stiffener, and I place neon stickers on the front and back of the package indicating “Do Not Bend” and “Fragile” to help facilitate a safe passage.

Shipping and Payment.  PayPal only.  I ship promptly worldwide. The automatic eBay invoice cannot compute accurate shipping/postage charge if you buy more than one LP, so if you are unsure email me and ask for an invoice. I will ship by any method you want.  But if you do not pay for protecting your purchase by requesting insurance, or expensive International Priority Mail, then please understand the record will be shipped at your own risk and not mine.  I offer full refund on this record including shipping both ways.  CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS:  Please add sales tax!
