NO DEMOCRACY 7 song unreleased unheard demo tape
Info: Here is a one of a kind item from the collection of a member of Adrenalin O.D.... This is the original never released, unheard demo from 1st generation Clifton, New Jersey hardcore punk band NO DEMOCRACY. These guys were one of the first hardcore punk bands on the NJ scene. The band featured Dave Scott of A.O.D. on drums and Pete Bekenbush and Rich Edmiston who would later go on to TEENAGE SLUTS FROM HELL, and Tesco influenced front man Pete Moertlebauer on vocals. This band is a straight up mix of raunchy and funny MEATMEN, MENTORS and FEEDERZ style lyrics with Adrenalin O.D. speed. They became local legends after playing "Jesus Entering Through The Rear at a born again Christian party. They also are mentioned in the new issue of Maximum Rock and Roll because they heckled the CLASH after their Saturday Night Live lame Rock the Casbah appearence. NO DEMOCRACY Literally walked behind them for blocks calling them sellouts. Songs are "KILL THE BEATLES", "DDT", "FRIDAY NIGHT", "JESUS " (by the FEEDERZ), "REAR ENTRY", "HEAVY METAL SUCKS MY BALLS" and "NO DEMOCRACY THEME". This recording was never sold or circulated and has remained in a closet for years just like the band members. Fans of early NYHC will love this. NO DEMOCRACY played CBGB's and A7 club back in the early 80's. Serious bidders only!!!!!
