Original 1st Pressing--This is the early side project of MIke Muir of SUICIDAL--NO MERCY "Widespread Bllodshed.." The cover art is AMAZING--it has both the lyrics insert AND the SUICIDAL order form...the cover and Vinyl look untouched--this is a TOP COPY.Great crossover thrash stuff from VENICE BEACH...I bought this for 90 dollars about 5 years ago. I understand if it goes for less than that. I am trying to fund a move to NYC. But I have to have at least HALF of what I paid--I mean..read this reviews and you will understand:

Southern California has always brought us great music from punk to metal its all good. What happens when an innovator of the whole punk/metal crossover scene makes a speed metal project you get this. Suicidal Tendencies was always more punk influenced than anything but this side project of Mike Muir was more Metal based.

This isn’t the best metal/punk hybrid but its pretty damn good and has a rather unique approach to it than all the other stuff at this time like D.R.I and Cryptic Slaughter. The music has more of a melody and structure instead of the speed and the insanity.

The album kicks off with a song called “Evil” which has some thrashy riffs and some rather comical lyrics if you ask me. It’s a good way to kick off this album. The whole album has a consistent sound except for the track Controlled By Hatred which is slower and has some lyrics about feelings. This album has some pretty sweet riffs. The song Im Your Nightmare has a sweet intro solo and some pretty cool lyrics. Mike Clark can really shred up the guitar. This is a pure guitar driven album everything else is kinda weak.

Well if you are into the whole punk/metal crossover scene like me you will enjoy this album otherwise you may just want to avoid this release. Its nothing special but it is pretty enjoyable. Some of the best tracks are Day of the Damned , Evil, Master of No Mercy, and Im Your Nightmare.
