Vintage 2-lp box set: THE NONESUCH GUIDE TO ELECTRONIC MUSIC, by PAUL BEAVER & BERNARD L. KRAUSE - Nonesuch Records, , HC-73018; includes the 16-page booklet (with photo of a Moog Series III Synthesizer, and sections on studio equipment, signal generators, voltage control, modulation, filtering, synthesis of sound, notation, track notes, glossary, bibliography, and a 4-page score to a brand-new composition called "Peace Three"); I think this was released in 1968. "A comprehensive survey of electronic music and its creation", with tracks covering signal generators, control generators, frequency modulation, amplitude modulation, ring modulation, filtering, and tape delay, and the new composition "Peace Three".
Condition: EX/VG+ (vinyl is glossy and mostly clean except for a few light scratches, a couple of which cause some light ticking, otherwise they play EX; inner sleeves are clean; booklet has minor corner crease; box has library label to cover and to spine, light corner rubbing, one tear to the right edge of the front cover/lid, spine scar, small scar to back cover; back cover has a 4-inch split to top edge and a 3-inch split at top of hinge with small piece of clear tape repair).
