Description
For the Record...
Norman Symonds-"Deep Ground, Long Waters", "Nameless Hour" b/w "Concerto Grosso For Jazz Quintet And Symphony Orchestra", CAPAC, QCS 1186, Mid-70s.
Rare Canadian jazz/classical EP featuring incredible performances by Beverly Glenn-Copeland ("Deep Ground, Long Waters") and none other than Duke Ellington on piano (the haunting "Namless Hour"). Ultimate recommendation. This is in my top-10 Canadian vinyl artifacts of all time. Enjoy! (*see other auctions for 2 more stellar CAPAC titles from electronic genius Nil Parent and electro-acoustic pioneer Micheline Coulombe Saint-Marcoux).
