SOLID STATE 2514.  IF THIS ISN'T LOVE/ I WAITED TOO LONG.  JOHNNY BARTEL AND THE SOUL MASTERS.  PROMO.   All of the 45's that I'm currently listing came from the same source. They came from a closed jukebox distributorship. A lot are promos. Since they had been stored loose in a box without sleeves the condition is very similar in all - light, superficial storage (not needle) related marks. In all cases a play grade is higher than the visual grade. For this batch of 45's most look VG but play VG++. I will grade them with both a visual grade and a play grade.   Well this is a good news/ bad news listing.  The bad news is that this 45 has a complete crack in it that runs from the outer edge to the spindle hole.  (I know,  it sucks - how do you think I feel) The good news is that it still plays pretty well.  There is a tick when the needle passes over the crack but it's surprisingly low volume.  I've provided a sound clip so you can judge for yourself.  Excluding the crack, the visual grade is VG minus.  Normally I wouldn't bother listing a 45 that's cracked but since this title goes for $100+ in nice shape I thought I'd list it cheap.  Many more obscure Soul and R&B 45's to be listed.
